  • Is there a deposit?
    Yes. After confirming availability, we will collect a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your date & rental. We cannot reserve your rental until the deposit is paid. The deposit will be deducted from your final invoice total. You will be issued a final invoice 72 hours prior to your special day to pay the balance. Balance must be paid 24 hours prior to your rental date.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit and debit cards, Zelle, Venmo and Paypal.
  • Do you offer any discounts?
    We currently offer a 10% multi rental discount, excluding custom balloon garlands. If you check multiple rentals on your reservation form, you will automatically see the discount on your invoice.
  • Do you have any party rules?
    It’s a bummer, I know, but we have to add a few party rules. Trust me, your party will still be a blast! No shoes No rough play No pets No sharp objects No food or drinks No messy activities* Adult supervision is required for the safety of our guests. Any damage (beyond typical wear and tear) will result in an additional cleaning fee. Thank you for helping us keep your guests safe and our rentals in excellent condition for the next party! *Messy activities include but are not limited to face paint, silly string, glitter, slime, confetti, paint, crayons, markers, dyed bubbles, and gender reveal powder. We will not set up at any event with face paint which will permanently stain the rentals.
  • What surfaces do you set up on?
    We will set up bounce houses and soft play on grass, turf, asphalt, concrete, pavers, or inside a venue or home. We cannot under any circumstances set up on rocks, gravel, sand, or dirt. Inflatables and sharp things just don’t mix! If you are setting up a bounce house inside a residence or venue, be sure to check dimensions including height clearance to ensure your have adequate space. If you need help figuring this out, please just send us an email.
  • Is your rental equipment cleaned?
    Fresh and clean, baby! The day isn’t over for us when your party ends. We stay up to wash and sanitize all bounce houses and soft play equipment. We even have a commercial grade ball sanitizer that can clean thousands of balls way faster than we ever could! And because natural living is a huge passion for us, we skip the harsh chemicals and use a clean disinfectant that won’t leave any toxic residue for your littles.
  • Are balloons included?
    They are not included in the cost of the rentals, but they are offered as an addd on purchase and highly encouraged as the perfect way to bring your party theme to life. We love a pop of color on a clean slate for that Instagram worthy vibe. Check out our balloon options under the "EXTRAS" tab.
  • Can I decorate the bounce house and soft play equipment?
    Our bounce houses come with hooks for easy hanging of balloon garlands. Be sure to hang balloon garlands using only 260 balloons to the preset hooks. No vinyl or adhesives, such as command strips or tape, should be attached to your rental. If you choose to hire an outside balloon vendor, they must abide by our rules. Please ensure we are put in touch with them to coordinate setup for your event. We ask that decorations not provided by us be fully removed prior to pick up.
  • Do you deliver to parks?
    Of course! We are fully licensed and insured making us ready to deliver to most parks, so long as the park doesn’t have a rule against it. Be sure to reach out to the park to verify before booking. You will also want to check with the park to see if any additional permits or proof of insurance needs to be provided. We are happy to send that over but will need advanced notice. Be sure that the park has an electrical hookup to power inflatables within 100 feet. If they do not have power, you will need to be prepared with a generator. If a generator is needed, we are happy to rent one to you.
  • Are you insured?
    Absolutely! Modern Party & Play Co is fully licensed and insured as well as SIOTO certified. Your safety is our number one priority. Reach out to us with plenty of time if your venue needs a certificate of liability from us. It is best to check ahead of time with any venue or city park to ensure nothing further is required.
  • What is required from me?
    It is your responsibility to ensure we have a clean, flat surface that will accommodate the size of your rental. You will also need to verify that you have a power source within 100 feet of the set up. If you need additional extension cords or a generator please let us know as soon as possible. Lastly, a fully paid invoice 24 hours prior to your event is required for delivery.
  • Is delivery and setup included?
    Set up is included! Delivery fees will range depending on your event location. A custom delivery quote will be provided to you along with your invoice after submitting the reservation form. You will also receive a delivery window based on the event start time provided to us. If you require a specific delivery time please be sure to let us know so that we can do our best to accommodate.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We sure hope you never have to cancel the party but we understand that life happens. Should you need to voluntarily cancel your rental, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Just send us an email at Your deposit is non-refundable but we would be happy to apply it to a future party date within one calendar year.
  • What is your bad weather policy?
    Texas can give you whiplash with its weather extremes and we understand that it is out of your control. Safety is our number one concern so we do not set up in heavy rain, thunder, lightening, or winds exceeding 15 mph. We reserve the right to cancel your rental in the event of the aforementioned weather conditions. We can still set up bounce houses in overcast skies with occasional light rain and no strong wind. We cannot set up soft play equipment in rain due to damage to the rental. Your deposit will be fully refunded or it can be applied to a different date within one calendar year. Since the weather forecast changes fast here and conditions typically improve as the day progresses, we will wait until the day of your event to assess and cancel if need be. As a plan B, we may be able to shift rentals indoors. If any of the noted weather conditions occur after we have set up, we ask that you turn off the blower to the bounce house, unplug cords from outlet, and tuck blower under the bounce house unit or in a covered area to protect it from water damage. Once party rentals have been delivered and setup they are in your care until we are able to pick them back up. We are sorry, but we are unable to offer refunds after delivery and set up.
